To Leen: Tell SuZ that being a no one isn't better... being a no one means that no one will remember you if you get killed, not 'not killed'. Get what I mean? Even if you're a no one, it doesn't mean that you won't get killed. It just means that no one will miss you, remember you, or mourn for you when you die. I don't think anybody's a 'no-one' to me. =), life's bad enough as it is.
To Leen: Well, the real world really isn't just FULL of sorrow... you have to look at life differently to make it seem happier. God knows how many things can seem good after awhile of thinking... =)
Quote : "There is ultimately nothing but sorrow in life. It is freedom from desire which frees us from sorrow" Get what it means? Because of our desires, our needs, our wants, our many many wishes, we feel sorrow because WE DON'T OR CAN'T HAVE THOSE THINGS! Confucious was right in saying freedom from desire frees us from sorrow. ^_^.
=P, I'm typing alot again... bad sign... good sign... somewhere in between...
/question/
why are we all here? is this a question that we, as people don't consider as important as finding out stupid scientific facts that don't prove much?
This I believe is from Jo's Blog (Eileen's friend). Well, I think the question has been asked... dozens of times. There are really a bunch of answers because a lot of people have different views on life.
For the optimistic, I guess we're here on this earth, alive, because we were all meant to do something, something great.
For the pessimistic, we're all here to live our lives in misery and sorrow. We're an experiment God started to amuse himself.
For the scientific, we're here because we were lucky enough to be born. Millions of sperms and all that stuff. =For me, I guess we're here because we just are. People consider questions like that, unconciously maybe, a great number of times. I dunno, that's what I think. =P, that, and my fingers are itchy.
The questions on life and reality are weird... many answers, all acceptable.
Chika~
