Ah, well. Valentines is here, and lookit me, I'm lonely as a bug now... *sigh sigh* oh well.

A Poem for the Lonely Valentiner:
As Valentine's creeps around the corner,
Many people scurry about, some don't bother,
The one's who do have hopes and wishes,
Maybe they'll get, with work, some love and kisses.

There are those who don't have anyone to turn to,
And so they don't have, on this day, anything to do,
No cards to make, no roses to buy,
No heart shaped chocolates from some mysterious guy.

Some really wish they did have someone to share Valentine's with,
But some just think that Valentine's is just a big fat myth,
Those that wish play songs and feel a deep sorrow,
Those that don't care just can't wait for tommorow.

These are the people that make up the loners during Valentine's,
They're probably the one's that are reading these long, long lines,
I type these out, since I'm one of them,
But I suppose this isn't, to me, much of a problem.

Some may agree, some may not,
That these lines are the only thing they've got,
Because their Valentine's are spent alone, not at all romantic,
And most wish that the day would just be over quick.

So now I stifle a yawn, and pause to think,
Should I continue this, or catch many a wink?
Valentine's is coming, in fact, it's already here,
Maybe I'll just drown it out with plenty o' beer.
